Paul McCartney joined Bruce Springsteen on stage in Liverpool tonight to play a version of The Beatles’ ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ – watch below.
The Boss played the second of two shows at Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC, on Saturday night (June 7) and during his encore, he welcomed the Beatles legend onto the stage.
Returning the favour after Springsteen appeared during McCartney’s huge Glastonbury set in 2022, the two icons played ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, from 1964’s ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, and followed it with the classic rock’n’roll song ‘Kansas City’, made famous in 1955 by Little Richard.
