Prime Video is set to release its mystery thriller series, “We Were Liars,” on June 18, and they were kind enough to send over a new trailer to share. This new footage showcases the upcoming release of the adaptation of the E. Lockhart novel, which sees all eight episodes dropping on the streaming service when it premieres. Co-writers and showrunners are Julie Plec (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Legacies”) and Carina Adly MacKenzie (Roswell, New Mexico, “The Originals”), who have turned the Lockhart book into the new Prime show hailing from Universal Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
