Garner will play CEO of FTX-affiliated Alameda Resarch Caroline Ellison in the eight-episode series, with Anthony Boyle set to star opposite her as the exchange’s founder, Sam Bankman-Fried. Both Ellison and Bankman-Fried were convicted on various counts of wire and securities fraud and money laundering.
