British Airways has finally unveiled today how many new Tier Points (nTP) Club members can earn when using their cobranded Amex card in the UK between June 18 and February 1, 2026.
BA has also extended an olive branch to Premium Plus Card members by giving them 500 extra nTPs for keeping the card.

New Tier Points Amex Earning Schedule June 18 – February 1, 2026:

| £25,000 | Additional 1,000 | 2,500 |
These nTPs have very little to do with the old ones, and here are the status requirements:
- Bronze: 3,500
- Silver: 7,500
- Gold: 20,000
- Gold Guest List: 40,000
Conclusion
It is unclear why BA and Amex withheld this information for so long, when the new program, figuratively speaking, was launched on April Fool’s Day (it represents the “enhanced” program).
I guess that the Silver threshold becomes easier to achieve by this credit card boost, but whether swiping the BA Amex card makes sense depends on what other credit products with points/miles earnings opportunities you have access to.
