How’s it been rollin’, truckers?

Today Star Trucker is getting a bit of tune-up with the release of the latest update, Plates & Parking. We’ve popped open the hood and tinkered around with some stuff, tightened up other stuff, and threw in a whole heap of new stuff on top of all that. Here’s a quick run-down on just some of the awesome new things that you’ll find when you get back into the wide open star system.

Getting Cozy

You can now sleep in your cab! Get all cozy in your bed and use it to skip some time (though make sure to set your alarms, you don’t want your delivery to be late). Make sure that you’re parked in a designated parking bay though, because resting in restricted sectors can result in getting a ticket.

Just You, Your Truck, and the Universe

We’ve added in Free Play! For everyone who wants to just haul instead of holla, you can now start the game with the entire galaxy unlocked and all truck features enabled. Turn on the tunes and just cruise, or tinker with your truck to your heart’s desire.

Take a Gander at That

Photo Mode has now been added to the pause menu. Next time you witness something truly spectacular while crossing the solar system, you’ll be able to catch it and (most importantly) add a filter as well!

Custom Plates Galore

New vanity plates have been added, so you can make your Truck even more you than before. New plates can be unlocked with cash or via challenges, and there are even some plates from other familiar Raw Fury games!

Besides all the fun new stuff, there’s  a whole heap of additional bug fixes, balance changes, and quality of life updates.  We want to give a big ol’ thank you to all of our amazing Truckers, and with summer just around the corner, we hope you have some amazing plans both down here on earth and across the Star Trucker sky.
