Cate Le Bon announces new album & tour, shares “Heaven Is No Feeling”

Cate Le Bon is back with Michelangelo Dying, her first album three years, which will be out September 26 via Mexican Summer. She co-produced the album with Samur Khouja, and it features longtime collaborator Euan Hinshelwood, along with contributions from John Cale, drummers Valentina Magaletti and Dylan Hadley and keyboardist Paul Jones.

“Over the years of working together Euan has uncoupled his playing from the traditional to house the emotional frequency I have asked of him,” Cate says of Hinshelwood. “On this record especially, it’s the voice that takes over when words are too concrete for the feeling.”

Press notes for the album call it the “product of all-consuming heartache,” which is pretty apparent on first single “Heaven Is No Feeling” where she sings “And you smoke our love / Like you’ve never known violence” over slippery, slinky backing. You can watch the video, directed by H. Hawkline, below.

Cate will also be on tour starting this fall and will hit North America in early 2026, including a NYC show at Irving Plaza on January 16. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 AM local time. Check out her full schedule below.
