Lil Wayne Livens Up For ‘Tha Carter VI’ Tour

Days ahead of the release of his long-awaited new album, Tha Carter VI, Lil Wayne has announced plans for an extensive summer tour in support of it. The shows will start July 30 in Bristow, Va., and conclude Oct. 2 in West Palm Beach, Fl. Opening acts include Tyga, Belly Gang Kushington and NoCap.

Tha Carter VI will be released Friday (June 6) through Young Money/Republic, and Wayne previously announced his first headlining show ever at New York’s Madison Square Garden on the same day. The new album purportedly includes guest appearances by everyone from U2‘s Bono and Andrea Bocelli to Miley Cyrus and Machine Gun Kelly.
