MUTEK 2025

Montreal’s Mutek festival holds its 2025 edition from August 19-24. As usual, the forward-thinking electronic festival has put together a lineup of cutting edge artists, including: English producer Max Cooper debuting a new work, plus Shackleton and Speedy J, Madame Gandhi, Valentina Magaletti, Slikback, Yu Su, Topdown Dialectic, Valesuchi, Hodge, Al Wootton, Bergsonist, and more.

PANDA BEAR

Panda Bear has announced fall tour dates surrounding his festival appearances at  Making Time, Woodsist, and ACL.

PYLON REENACTMENT SOCIETY / RICHARD BARONE (THE BONGOS)

The Pylon Reenactment Society, the band led by Pylon’s Vanessa Briscoe Hay, will be teaming up with The Bongos’ Richard Barone for a short tour this month, hitting Nashville, Birmingham, Atlanta and more.

LOLA YOUNG

British singer-songwriter Lola Young is heading back to North America this fall, and stops include NYC’s Terminal 5 on November 5.

NIHILISTIC EASYRIDER (NARROW HEAD’S JACOB DUARTE)

Narrow Head‘s Jacob Duarte will be on tour this September as Nihilistic Easyrider in support of his solo debut.

CASE OATS (DATES WITH SUPERCHUNK & MORE)

Chicago’s Case Oats recently announced their debut album which will be out on Merge, and they’ll be on tour with Superchunk with fall. They’ve also got a few headline shows including NYC’s Night Club 101 on August 19.

ACTIVITY

Brooklyn band Activity release their fourth album, A Thousand Years In Another Way, this week and they’ve just announced fall tour dates. Before that, they’ll play a hometown release show on June 12 at Union Pool.

QUINNIE

Singer-songwriter quinnie releases her sophomore album paper doll on July 24 and has announced a tour for it, including an NYC show at Racket on October 4.
