Dexter: Resurrection
Actor Erik King will reprise his memorable role of butch cop James Doakes in the upcoming series “Dexter: Resurrection”. Showrunner Clyde Phillips reportedly confirmed King’s return during an appearance at CCXP Mexico this weekend.

Doakes will be one of the three hallucinations Dexter sees upon waking – joined by Jimmy Smits as Miguel Prado and John Lithgow as Trinity. All three characters died in the early seasons of the show. [Source: DexterEditss]

Interview with the Vampire
AMC Networks has confirmed that the third season of their highly acclaimed adaptation of “Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire” will kick off filming next month in Toronto. The new season will follow Sam Reid’s Vampire Lestat and his rock band on tour with the run expected to premiere in 2026.

Before that we’ll get the new series “Anne Rice’s Talamasca” which has scored Jason Schwartzman in a guest role as a rakish vampire living in a luxurious Upper West Side penthouse. Nicholas Denton, Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Celine Buckens co-star in that series which premieres in October. [Source: Deadline]

Untitled Joona Linna Series
Apple TV+ has ordered a ten-episode TV series based on Lars Kepler’s Joona Linna novels with Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham attached to star. Filming begins this summer in Pittsburgh.

Schreiber plays Jonah Lyn, an ex-soldier turned Philadelphia homicide detective who moves to a small town in Western Pennsylvania for a quiet life. He and his family sooncome under attack a diabolically cunning serial killer (Graham). [Source: Variety]

Peacemaker
Following a panel for the series at CCXP Mexico, DC and HBO Max have released a sizzle reel of behind-the-scenes footage for the upcoming second season of “Peacemaker” which returns on Augut 21st.

Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Nhut Le, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodriguez, Tim Meadows, Michael Rooker, David Denman, Anissa Matlock, Taylor St. Clair, Dorian Kingi, and Brandon Stanley all star in the new season which has James Gunn, Peter Sollett and Greg Mottola directing episodes.
